A few months ago, it was the commencement of ITEC 7445 and now it's already time for reflection. From the time I noticed the title of this course, "Multimedia and Web Design in Education", I became quite excited. When one goes back to school to study Instructional Technology, this is the course title you expect on your schedule and I must say that it did live up to my expectation.
Although the assignments were sometimes time consuming (as expected of graduate level course work), it was fun, relevant and worthwhile. I particularly enjoyed the ongoing exposure to various multimedia platforms. My favorite assignment was using Notepad to write codes. Mine did not turn out to be perfect but the experience blew me away and I thought it was particularly relevant as future technology leaders, to know how coding was manually done back in the days. I really don't intend to use it but it formed solid background knowledge for me, which I do find quite useful as a technology leader. In general, the course turned out to be everything I had hoped that it would be and I thank Dr. Beeland for his benevolence and candor in ensuring that his students succeed.
